About Us
Working alongside Vanuatu's communities, not ahead of them
SENIKAU ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE (INC.) is an officially incorporated non-profit entity operating in Vanuatu (Registration ID: 501645).
Grounded in the spirit of Pacific community collaboration and local resilience, our committee works directly with island families, youth, and civic leaders. We implement grassroots programs focused on social support, cultural exchange, environmental protection, and educational empowerment tailored to the unique needs of Vanuatu's communities.
Our Mission
To strengthen community resilience, foster inclusive local development, protect environmental heritage, and empower youth and families across Vanuatu through accessible educational and social programs.
Our Vision
A prosperous, sustainable, and cohesive society where every community member in Vanuatu is equipped with the resources, skills, and support needed to thrive with dignity.
How we work
- We listen first. Every activity begins with conversations in the community — with chiefs, church groups, women's associations, teachers and young people — so the work reflects real local priorities.
- We keep it practical. Small, achievable projects delivered consistently do more good than large promises. We plan around what volunteers and local partners can genuinely sustain.
- We stay accountable. Committee decisions, activity records and expenditure summaries are documented and available to members and to the public on request.
- We share credit. Programs are run with community volunteers and partner groups, and we recognise their contribution openly.
