1. About these terms

This website is published by SENIKAU ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE (INC.), an incorporated non-profit association registered in Vanuatu (registration ID 501645), Kumul Hwy, Port Vila, Vanuatu.

By using this website or taking part in our programs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Purpose of this website

The site exists to explain who we are, describe our community programs, and make it easy to contact the committee. It is informational and non-commercial: we do not sell products or services here.

3. Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting systems, to interfere with its operation, to submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or deliberately harmful content through our contact form, or to use our contact details to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may decline to respond to, or may remove, any submission that breaches these expectations.

4. Participation in our programs

Participation in our workshops, youth activities, clean-ups and cultural events is voluntary and open to all members of the community without discrimination.

Participants are asked to treat other participants, volunteers and community hosts with respect, to follow safety instructions given by activity coordinators, and to respect custom, land and property in the communities where activities take place.

Activities involving children require the consent of a parent, guardian or responsible adult. We may pause or end a participant's involvement where conduct puts others at risk.

5. Photography and stories

We ask permission before photographing identifiable people or sharing their story, and anyone may decline or later ask us to stop using their image or words. We do not publish images of children without the consent of a parent or guardian.

6. Donations and support

Any support offered to the association is applied to its non-profit community objectives and reasonable operating costs. No part of our income is distributed as profit to members, officers or volunteers. We are happy to explain how contributions have been used on request.

7. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but program details, dates and locations can change with community circumstances. Please confirm details with us before travelling to an activity.

8. Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics and organisational name and emblem on this site belong to SENIKAU ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE (INC.) unless stated otherwise. You may quote or share our material for non-commercial community, educational or reporting purposes with attribution.

9. External links

Where we link to another website or embed a map, we do so for convenience. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, the association is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under Vanuatu law.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Vanuatu. We may update them from time to time; the current version is always the one published on this page.
